THE PODCAST

"Honor My Inheritance in You" exists for those who feel there is something more to discover: a deeper relationship with God, a clearer understanding of who they are, and an inheritance that may be waiting to be understood and lived out.

Perhaps, you have never had a deep conversation about God. Maybe you avoid the subject because something you experienced in life caused you to question Him, distance yourself from Him, or even feel hurt or offended by Him.

Our understanding of who He is and what He has made available to us is often incomplete.

About

Alejandro Pardo

He became a Christian in 2017, and since then, he has devoted himself to growing and becoming stronger as a disciple of Christ. He studies Scripture with the desire to know God more deeply—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—and seeks discernment to recognize those truths that can be put into practice and that allow us to experience and live out Christianity in everyday life.Among the most important lessons he has discovered along this journey is the importance of intentionally seeking a transformation of our hearts, taking the heart of Christ as our model. He has also come to understand the need to establish a personal and direct relationship with God through the study of His Word, dialogue, and prayer. In the same way, he has discovered the importance of intentionally creating more space within us for the Holy Spirit to grow and manifest Himself, which requires stepping away from the powerful influence that the things of this world can have on our lives. His Christian journey began in a Messianic congregation, an experience that gave him the opportunity to draw closer to the people of Israel and develop a deeper understanding of their roots and traditions. This also led him to engage more deeply with the Scriptures of the Old Testament and to discover how, from ancient times, they abundantly pointed to and announced the coming of the Son of Man to earth. One night in April 2018, while he was asleep, the words “Honor My Inheritance in You” came to him. Since then, he has remained on a continuous journey to understand the meaning of this calling, discover how to put it into practice, and place it at the service of others. Along the way, he has found another way of understanding what he considers a fundamental truth: God has always desired to remain in relationship with us because we are His creation and hold a special place within it.This podcast is the result of that journey. It is the fruit of an ongoing search that he hopes will become the first of many conversations, reflections, and shared experiences. Its purpose is to help others understand the value we have as heirs of God and what it means to live from that inheritance, especially when we are seeking to build, rebuild, or redirect our lives. He is currently part of a Baptist community in Falls Church, Virginia, where he attends with his wife and serves in the prayer ministry. On a personal level, he is currently pursuing certification as a Christian Coach, as part of his ongoing journey of growth and service to others.
